Layer to view on the map

PLSS Section and Township and Range provide cadastral location references, not environmental concern indicators or authoritative property-boundary/survey determinations. One AOI may match multiple polygons, including by boundary contact; results depend on source coverage. A no-match does not establish that no legal description exists.

Census 2020 uses only selected MapServer sublayer 5 and captures NAME, not a state name. Place-category scope and mapped coverage are unverified; a complete no-match applies only to that selected source.

Checking live testing availability…

Run test sends one combined request for all checked layers. The server controls parallel queries and shared limits. View one layer and its legend at a time; changing the map view does not change the test selection.

Build a polygon

Click to place vertices. Double-click to finish. Drag a vertex to adjust a finished polygon.

Import zipped shapefile

One polygon shapefile with matching .shp, .shx, .dbf and .prj; optional .cpg. Up to 10 MB ZIP, 10 features and 10,000 vertices. Files go to this GeoEV server for in-memory conversion; no GIS queries occur until Run test. Download drawings before replacing them.

Synthetic test area

Synthetic seeded contiguous-US geometry, not verified findings. Loading does not run a test. Oversized query geometry is split into bounded internal pieces; broad areas can still exceed request or provider budgets.

Separate features exports a Feature or FeatureCollection. Multipart combines all polygons into one MultiPolygon Feature. Parts should not overlap; export does not dissolve overlaps. Area is an approximate geodesic measurement.

Diagnostic log 0

Last 200 events, kept in this tab until reload. Safe categories and status codes only; no geometry, attributes, file names, or credentials. Download to share with support.

Drawings and results are not saved on the server. ZIP imports are uploaded to this server for in-memory conversion. Map requests send the visible extent to the selected provider and OpenStreetMap. Run test sends the area to the selected service. Reloading clears drawings and results.
