GeoEVENVIRONMENTAL SCREENING

YOUR FIRST SCREENING

From map to result.

  1. Build an area

Open the map, draw vertices and double-click to finish. Drag finished vertices to edit. You can also load a synthetic test area. An enabled ZIP import accepts one matching SHP/SHX/DBF/PRJ set, with optional CPG.

  2. Pick layers

Checkboxes select the sources to query. The separate map dropdown controls the visible imagery and legend. Select a few relevant layers first; broad combined screenings can exhaust shared limits.

  3. Run and inspect

The progress indicator runs until one combined response returns. Check Complete and Pieces as well as the Value. Different services can finish with different statuses.

  4. Keep the evidence

Download result GeoJSON to retain the original geometry, findings and provenance. Download input GeoJSON to save your drawing alone. Reloading clears the tab’s work.

Large and multipart areas

Oversized geometry is split internally, with results aggregated onto the original feature. Query pieces share the same limits. Separate features keeps input IDs and attributes; combining into a multipart feature is an explicit choice and does not dissolve overlapping parts.

If something fails

Review the row’s status. Open Diagnostic log and download it before reloading. It includes safe request IDs and categories without geometry. Share only what you choose through the contact form; do not paste private geometry or credentials.

If the service is busy

Follow the retry message and wait before trying again. Imports and screenings count toward enabled usage allowances, including admitted requests that later fail. The client does not retry automatically.
